Camper & Nicholsons will unveil its Design Studio’s first complete interior-and-exterior yacht concept at Monaco Yacht Show 2026.
Camper & Nicholsons Design will use the Monaco Yacht Show 2026 to debut the first complete interior-and-exterior yacht concept developed by its Design Studio. The official Monaco conference programme describes the project as a return to the company’s creative roots, with the concept exploring natural light, contemporary architecture and life at sea.
The presentation is significant because Camper & Nicholsons is best known globally for brokerage, charter, management and new-build advisory services. A complete yacht concept developed internally by its Design Studio broadens that role into a more visible design proposition and gives clients another route from early creative thinking into a coordinated yacht project.
According to the Monaco Yacht Show programme, the debut project is the Design Studio’s first complete concept covering both exterior and interior design. That matters because coordinating the two disciplines from the beginning can help align proportions, glazing, circulation, furniture planning and the relationship between inside and outside spaces before technical development advances too far.
The initial description focuses on the interaction of natural light with contemporary architecture and the experience of living at sea. Camper & Nicholsons has not yet released the full dimensions, propulsion package or detailed technical specification, so Superyacht Guide is not adding unconfirmed particulars before the Monaco presentation.
Camper & Nicholsons’ official Monaco page also says visitors to the Design Studio will be able to explore CANVAS, its interior-design tool intended to make the superyacht design process more immersive and personalised. The company presents the studio as a space where creativity, expertise and innovation can be brought together during client discussions.
Digital design tools are becoming more important during the early stages of yacht development because owners increasingly expect to evaluate materials, layouts and atmosphere before construction decisions become difficult or expensive to change. Used well, an interactive tool can shorten the distance between a client’s preferences and a design team’s visual interpretation.
For Camper & Nicholsons, the Design Studio can also connect more closely with its existing new-build and project-coordination services. Clients considering a new yacht often begin with a brokerage or advisory conversation long before a shipyard contract is signed, so an in-house design capability can help turn that early brief into a more structured concept.
The Monaco debut will therefore be worth watching not only for the project itself but for how the company positions design within its wider client services. The strongest value may come from continuity: moving from initial acquisition or new-build advice into design development without forcing the owner to restart the conversation with a separate team.
The Camper & Nicholsons presentation is scheduled for 24 September at the Monaco Yacht Show, which runs from 23 to 26 September 2026 in Port Hercule. The company will also host its Design Studio space during the exhibition, where visitors can explore CANVAS and discuss design work with its team.
Superyacht Guide will update coverage after the Monaco presentation if Camper & Nicholsons releases the concept’s dimensions, technical platform, imagery or additional design details.
