Oyster Unveils 36m Sailing Superyacht Flagship at Monaco

Oyster Yachts has revealed a new 36m flagship designed with Frers, combining an adaptable guest layout and bluewater systems for extended cruising.
Oyster Yachts unveiled the Oyster 36M at Monaco Yacht Show on 24 September 2026, introducing a new 36-metre sailing superyacht developed with Frers Naval Architecture & Engineering. The announcement is a design reveal, not confirmation that a completed hull has been delivered to an owner.
The British builder positions the project above its existing monohull range and describes it as a more individual platform for long-distance cruising. Owners will be able to specify the arrangement around their intended use, within the limits of the underlying architecture and engineering.
A configurable forward retreat can incorporate sun protection and a jacuzzi, while the aft cockpit and beach club make the water part of daily life aboard. Oyster calls the central adjustable platform The Island, with a lowered position for access to the sea and a raised position creating an extra terrace.
The saloon provides panoramic views and a sliding glass partition connecting it to the cockpit. This is a design concept aimed at allowing different sheltered and open-air spaces to be used as conditions change during a passage or at anchor.
Oyster highlights large tanks, equipment stowage, accessible technical systems and a garage for diving and other owner equipment. The Frers hull combines a deep-V bow and broad stern, with a design brief addressing comfort, light-air sailing and performance when required.
Technical and crew spaces are integrated into the hull development rather than appended to a guest layout. That approach is intended to make owner choices easier to incorporate without requiring the basic engineering to be redesigned for every commission.
The 36M reveal follows Oyster's announcement of the C60 catamaran at Cannes earlier in September. The two projects occupy different parts of the range, with the new monohull flagship reaffirming Oyster's stated focus on long-distance sailing yachts.
The announcement does not specify a confirmed hull delivery date or sale price, so those details should not be inferred. The builder's official release and exact project image provide the reference point for the newly unveiled design.
