The 29.48-metre CNB sailing yacht LADY 8 has opened availability for Christmas and New Year charters in the Caribbean, according to Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage in a 1 September announcement. The aluminium sailing yacht is fresh from a 2025 refit and is being marketed for winter cruising across the British Virgin Islands, the Grenadines, Antigua & Barbuda, and Saint Martin & Saint Barth.
LADY 8 was built by CNB Yacht Builders in 2008 to a design by Philippe Briand. Her current charter specification lists four cabins, six guests and four crew, including an onboard chef, while the brokerage says the preferred arrangement is six guests using three cabins for a more spacious private-charter setup.
The 2025 refit is central to the yacht’s current marketing position. Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage says the work modernised the interior and upgraded onboard living, giving LADY 8 a fresher presentation while retaining the sailing characteristics and long-range cruising profile of the original CNB design.
At 29.48 metres, LADY 8 sits just below the 30-metre mark but remains firmly in superyacht territory by length. Her aluminium construction, 7.0-metre beam and 3.5-metre draft support a substantial sailing platform, while the brokerage lists a cruising speed of nine knots and a range of 2,900 nautical miles.
The yacht is configured with four guest cabins, but the current charter programme is centred on six guests. Bernard Gallay Yacht Brokerage specifically describes three-cabin use as the preferred arrangement for the most comfortable and exclusive experience, while the full-beam master suite provides the principal private retreat onboard.
A crew of four includes a chef, allowing the yacht to operate as a fully serviced charter platform rather than simply a performance sailing yacht with accommodation. The brokerage also lists wakeboarding equipment, scuba-diving gear and two paddleboards, giving the winter programme a mix of sailing, water sports and shore-based cruising.
