Burgess currently presents Codecasa's 50-metre INVADER for sale on a price-on-application basis, emphasizing her 2019 refit, guest elevator and extensive outdoor spaces.

A Codecasa with an established cruising history

The 50-metre Codecasa motor yacht INVADER appears in the current Burgess brokerage catalogue with an asking price available on application. The Italian-built vessel combines a steel hull and aluminium superstructure with a substantial leisure programme and an extensive refurbishment completed in 2019.

The broker's current specification records delivery in 2000, while its longer description refers to the end of 1999. Prospective buyers should treat the build-date discrepancy as a matter to clarify from original yard documentation, rather than assuming one version is definitive.

At approximately 608 gross tons, INVADER has the scale to support an extended guest programme without belonging to the very largest superyacht category. Her published beam of 9.5 metres should be taken into account when considering berth options, harbour approach and handling in confined marinas.

The 2019 design refresh

Studio Vafiadis led a 2019 redesign that addressed the sun deck and guest interior spaces, according to the sales material. The result is a yacht whose social areas include different settings for informal afternoon use and more structured entertaining.

An elevator connects the decks and is a significant element of the brokerage proposition. An accessible layout is valuable to some owners and guests, but actual door widths, bathroom configuration, emergency arrangements and the elevator's inspection record still require direct evaluation.

The sun deck's jacuzzi is positioned near raised lounging areas, with protected seating and a bar farther forward. These arrangements give a party room to spread out, although crew access, shade at different hours and wind exposure should be judged during an onboard tour.

Accommodation and everyday operation

Burgess presents the yacht with five guest cabins, including a full-beam principal suite and lower-deck double and twin accommodation. Its headline summary states capacity for twelve guests, whereas the longer narrative describes ten sleeping places, so the current approved guest configuration should be confirmed in writing.

A large upper-deck lounge, main-deck saloon and aft-deck dining spaces offer different options for families or mixed groups. Buyers contemplating a charter operation should also inspect crew routes, galley provision and guest privacy when the vessel is hosting a full complement.

INVADER's tender garage can become an additional waterside space when equipment is deployed. That flexibility is useful at anchor, but a detailed inventory review is needed to establish which tenders and water toys are included in the sale.

Performance figures need careful verification

The yacht uses twin Caterpillar diesel engines and the published specifications describe a modest displacement-yacht operating profile. The brochure narrative and its technical table quote different ranges and top speeds, so buyers should request a current consumption table supported by trial conditions.

Long-distance suitability is about more than an advertised nautical-mile figure. Tank condition, generator loads, stabilisers, machinery spares, crew coverage and available service support all influence the safety and cost of an intended crossing.

The 2019 design work and established charter history will attract interest, yet an independent survey must establish the present technical standard. A purchase decision should rest on survey results and documentation rather than photography or headline claims of condition.

A distinctive offering without a published price

Burgess lists INVADER in the eastern Mediterranean and markets her privately rather than displaying a fixed asking price. This makes direct engagement necessary to establish the seller's current expectations and the transaction structure.

A credible comparison with other 45-to-55-metre yachts should distinguish refit quality, usable volume and accessibility features from the age of machinery and the cost of further capital work. INVADER's strongest appeal lies in a mature platform with an unusual combination of lift access and broad entertaining areas.
