Custom Line Navetta 35 Reaches Five Sales Ahead of Monaco Display

Five units sold after the model’s market introduction

Custom Line says five examples of its new Navetta 35 have already been sold as the model arrives at the Monaco Yacht Show. The 34.5-metre displacement yacht made its public debut in Cannes and is now being presented at Port Hercule from 23 to 26 September.

The sales figure gives an early measure of demand for the new platform rather than simply recording another boat-show appearance. It also comes during Custom Line’s 30th anniversary year, with the Ferretti Group brand saying it has now delivered more than 400 made-to-measure yachts.

34.5 metres and more than 300 square metres of living space

The Navetta 35 measures 34.5 metres overall with a 7.7-metre beam and sits below 272 GT. Custom Line says the three-deck layout provides more than 300 square metres of interior and exterior space, with accommodation for up to 10 guests in five cabins.

The owner’s suite is positioned on the main deck, while four guest cabins are located below. Separate guest and crew circulation routes are used to preserve privacy, and full-height glazing is employed to bring more natural light through the accommodation.

Stern layout removes external aft staircases

One of the more distinctive layout decisions is the removal of external aft staircases on both the main and upper decks. Access to the sun deck instead runs forward on the starboard side, leaving the stern areas visually cleaner and giving the aft social spaces a more continuous relationship with the sea.

Filippo Salvetti is responsible for the exterior styling, while ACPV Architects Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel developed the interior architecture. The project was developed with Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee and Engineering Department, with Custom Line Atelier involved in defining the interior style.

Machinery prepared for tighter emissions standards

Custom Line says the propulsion installation is prepared for Selective Catalytic Reduction systems intended to meet IMO Tier III requirements. The builder states that the system can reduce nitrogen-oxide emissions by around 70 percent, an increasingly relevant consideration for yachts operating in regulated emission-control areas.

The standard package uses twin 1,400hp MAN V12 engines and is quoted with a range of up to 1,750 nautical miles at economical speed. An optional pair of 1,622hp Caterpillar C32 engines is also offered, with the yard giving a preliminary maximum speed of 16 knots for the higher-power installation.
