Damen Yachting has announced a significant increase in superyacht Owners choosing to return to their original build yard in Vlissingen for comprehensive refits and maintenance work, demonstrating the trust and expertise the company has cultivated with its clients.
Damen Yachting has announced a significant increase in superyacht Owners choosing to return to their original build yard in Vlissingen for comprehensive refits and maintenance work, demonstrating the trust and expertise the company has cultivated with its clients.
"That so many of our fleet choose to return to us for refit work speaks volumes," says Graeme Pollock, Fleet Support Engineer at Damen Yachting. "Our shipyard will always be a place they can call home."
Recent examples include the 74-metre Amels 242 AVANTI, currently undergoing scheduled maintenance, and SYNTHESIS, receiving a five-year service combined with technical upgrades and a full exterior respray. Captain Ollie Lewis of SYNTHESIS notes that " the same people who built the yacht are still here; this knowledge is invaluable for a refit."
