Feadship Identifies 101.2m Project 1014 as DESTINY in 2026 Fleet

Feadship now identifies its 101.2-metre Project 1014 as DESTINY in the builder’s official 2026 fleet catalogue. The current named record connects the vessel previously reported during North Sea sea trials with hull number 1014, exterior styling by RWD and an interior developed with Paris-based Chahan Design.

Hull 1014 has a documented name

The official profile gives DESTINY as both the displayed name and the launch name of hull 1014, with a 2026 fleet year. This is an identification update drawn from Feadship’s current catalogue, not a claim that the shipyard held a new naming ceremony on 29 September.

Feadship’s May sea-trials report had identified the vessel by project number and shown the yacht under way in the North Sea. The current name allows that earlier milestone to be connected to the correct completed-yacht record without creating an additional vessel.

An exterior defined by long lines

RWD developed the exterior around uninterrupted horizontal lines, a deep navy hull and restrained bronze details. The combination is intended to keep the 101.2-metre profile visually balanced rather than breaking it into several unrelated deck shapes.

The interior was developed jointly by RWD and Chahan Interior Design, while Azure Yacht Design & Naval Architecture led naval architecture. These roles are yacht-specific and should not be substituted with design credits belonging to another Feadship project.

The current technical particulars

The builder gives a 15.17-metre beam and 4.2-metre draught, alongside twin electric propulsion motors rated at 2,500 kW each. Four MTU generator units supply the electrical system in the published configuration.

Feadship lists a range of approximately 5,500 nautical miles at twelve knots. This is manufacturer specification data rather than a guarantee of endurance under every sea, load or operating condition.

Keep the image tied to its original phase

The hero is Feadship’s official photograph of Project 1014 during the earlier trials period, credited as an archive image of the hull now called DESTINY. No unrelated yacht photograph or crop previously used elsewhere is substituted.
