Galati Yacht Sales has launched Yacht Offer, a qualified-buyer marketplace with time-limited live offer events, real-time offers and optional Buy Now pricing.

Galati Yacht Sales has launched Yacht Offer, an online marketplace designed to give yacht buyers and sellers another way to complete transactions through time-limited competitive offer events. The platform combines live online offer activity with buyer qualification and brokerage support rather than attempting to replace the conventional broker-led sales process.

Galati says the launch reflects changing expectations in other high-value markets, where buyers increasingly expect clearer access to information and the ability to act online. Yacht Offer brings those features into yacht sales while keeping experienced yacht professionals involved in qualification, due diligence and transaction support.

Qualified buyers can adjust offers in real time

Buyers can browse participating yachts, review detailed vessel information and register for defined live offer periods. After completing Galati's qualification process, they can submit and adjust offers online while following competitive offer activity in real time.

Selected yachts may also carry a Buy Now option. That creates a more structured path for buyers who do not want to wait for the end of an offer period, while still allowing sellers to expose a yacht to multiple qualified prospects during a fixed campaign.

Sellers control the terms and offer window

For sellers, Yacht Offer is designed around a professionally managed offering rather than an unrestricted public auction. Galati says sellers can establish the terms of the offering and use a defined time window to create urgency among qualified buyers.

The distinction matters because yacht transactions often involve survey, title, financing, tax, flag and closing considerations that do not disappear simply because offers are placed online. The platform changes how interest and pricing are gathered, but the underlying transaction still requires professional handling.

Galati says it will not replace traditional brokerage

Galati Yacht Sales explicitly says Yacht Offer is not intended to replace traditional yacht brokerage. Instead, the company describes it as an additional route for owners and buyers who prefer a more transparent and digitally accessible offer process.

That positioning may make the platform more acceptable to sellers who still want a broker's market knowledge and transaction management while also testing demand through a controlled competitive process. It also avoids presenting online bidding as a substitute for yacht-specific expertise.

Why the model matters for yacht sales

Digital marketplaces have been part of yacht marketing for years, but most remain listing platforms that pass enquiries to brokers. Yacht Offer moves further into the transaction itself by allowing qualified buyers to make and modify offers inside a managed online environment.

If the model gains traction, the useful measure will be whether it shortens time to agreement, improves price discovery and attracts buyers who might otherwise hesitate to enter a conventional negotiation. Superyacht Guide will track how many larger yachts use the service and whether competing brokerages adopt similar live-offer models.
