ISA Yachts has begun outfitting the second Classic 65 and second Unica 45M Steel simultaneously at its Ancona shipyard.
ISA Yachts has started outfitting the second ISA Classic 65 and the second ISA Unica 45M Steel at the same time at its Ancona shipyard. The 65-metre and 45-metre projects are both displacement yachts built in steel and aluminium, and their parallel progress gives a useful snapshot of the yard's current workload.
Both yachts feature exterior and interior design by Enrico Gobbi of TEAM for Design, while naval architecture is handled by ISA Yachts' technical department. The projects are distinct in size and mission, but they share an emphasis on large guest volumes and a close relationship between interior spaces and the sea.
The second ISA Classic 65 is rated at 1,420 GT and develops the platform used for S5, formerly known as Resilience. The design combines the line's established profile with generous internal volume, making the transition to outfitting a significant step toward systems installation, interior completion and final commissioning.
The Unica 45M Steel has reached the same milestone with a layout aimed at long-range cruising and substantial onboard volume. Expansive glazing and broad exterior decks are intended to connect the interior accommodation with outdoor guest areas, giving the smaller of the two yachts a strong lifestyle focus alongside its cruising capability.
The simultaneous milestone comes during a period of high production activity for ISA Yachts and parent company Palumbo Superyachts. YachtBuyer reports 22 yachts in construction across the group, including 14 under the ISA brand, with projects ranging from 22 metres to 100 metres.
That pipeline spans performance yachts, steel-and-aluminium superyachts and large custom projects, including the 100-metre GranTurismo 100 that is set to become ISA's flagship. Moving two established series projects into outfitting at once shows how the yard is balancing repeat-platform efficiency with the customisation expected by individual owners.
