Marcopolo MP12 Put to Work With Y.CO at Monaco Yacht Show 2026

Marcopolo Adventure Yachts is using Monaco Yacht Show 2026 to demonstrate its 12.70-metre MP12 as an operational superyacht support craft rather than a static exhibit. Throughout the show, the boat is being used by Y.CO brokers to transfer clients between appointments, yachts and different areas of Port Hercule.

The arrangement gives owners and guests a chance to experience the MP12 in the type of short-range support role for which it was designed. It also puts the boat into continuous service in one of the busiest superyacht environments of the year.

Y.CO uses the MP12 between Monaco appointments

The MP12 is supporting Y.CO’s brokerage team with movements around Port Hercule during the show. That means the boat is working as a real client-transfer platform rather than relying on sea trials or dockside presentations to demonstrate its capabilities.

For a tender or chase boat, that operating context is particularly relevant because comfort, boarding, manoeuvrability and turnaround time matter as much as headline speed. Monaco’s dense schedule gives the boat repeated short-duty cycles under realistic event conditions.

Triple Mercury V10 power

The Monaco boat is powered by three 400hp Mercury V10 outboards. Marcopolo combines that propulsion package with a three-step hull developed using computational fluid dynamics to balance performance and seakeeping.

The hull also uses a deep-V form and pronounced bow flare, with the builder positioning the MP12 for open-water support work as well as day boating. That makes the platform relevant to superyachts needing a chase boat capable of operating independently outside protected harbour waters.

Fold-down bulwarks expand the aft deck

Fold-down bulwarks increase the usable aft living area when the boat is stopped, while the modular arrangement allows the platform to move between dayboat, cruiser, tender and support-craft roles. The design is intended to let owners adapt the same hull to different operating requirements rather than committing to one fixed use.

That versatility is particularly useful in the superyacht sector, where a support boat may need to carry guests one day and equipment or crew the next. Marcopolo also says the layout can evolve over time through modular additions rather than requiring a complete replacement platform.

Operational use becomes part of the sales demonstration

Marcopolo Adventure Yachts made its international debut in 2026 as part of Aschenez Group, with the MP12 developed by Roberto Delfanti Design Lab. Monaco gives the new brand a direct connection to superyacht owners and brokers without relying on a conventional berth display.

Using the MP12 throughout the show turns the demonstration into a live operational test in front of potential clients. For the superyacht market, that is more meaningful than treating a 12.7-metre support craft as though it were simply a smaller yacht competing for static-show attention.
