Teledyne Raymarine Commercial is extending its MyFleet platform with a mobile app for iPhone and Android. Announced in August 2026, the app gives owners, fleet managers, marine superintendents and operations teams a quick view of vessel position, voyage progress and estimated arrival time without opening the full desktop platform.

The service is designed as a companion to MyFleet rather than a replacement for detailed route planning. That distinction matters when a phone display is convenient for awareness but not appropriate for carrying out every operational task.

The essentials are designed for quick checks

The app includes a fleet overview, search and filtering, vessel details, position, course and speed, planned route, voyage progress and ETA. An interactive map can combine OpenSeaMaps and other layers, giving a shore-side user context around the vessel's movement.

For yacht management companies overseeing several vessels, a mobile summary can reduce reliance on ad-hoc position messages from each captain. It should not replace agreed reporting procedures or emergency communications when an operational issue needs direct attention.

Web tools remain available for deeper planning

Raymarine says detailed planning and fleet-management tasks remain on the full MyFleet web service while the app focuses on visibility between desk sessions. That split can help reduce interface complexity on a phone while preserving more advanced functions for larger screens.

Access control becomes important when yacht locations, routes and schedules are commercially or personally sensitive. Operators should manage user permissions and mobile-device security with the same care applied to other yacht-management systems.
