Raymarine NavCloud Connects Bridge Voyage Data with Shore Teams

Raymarine Commercial's NavCloud links route planning, chart updates and shore-side monitoring so navigation data can move automatically between vessel and office.

Voyage planning becomes a connected workflow

Teledyne Raymarine Commercial is presenting NavCloud as a connected ecosystem linking bridge navigation systems with shoreside operations. The August 2026 product feature focuses on automating the transfer of route plans, navigational data and updates that otherwise require several manual steps between the vessel and office.

For SOLAS-class yachts and management companies, reducing manual media transfers can simplify administration and make it easier for shore teams to see the same operational picture as the bridge. The bridge team remains responsible for voyage planning and execution under the applicable rules.

Charts and routes can move without physical media

NavCloud is designed to connect ECDIS and shoreside services so chart updates, route files and navigational overlays can be delivered electronically. Vessel position and voyage progress can also return to the office, creating a two-way information path rather than one-directional chart distribution.

Automating data transfer can remove some repetitive work, but cybersecurity and data integrity become more important when navigation systems connect to external services. Network architecture and permissions therefore need to be designed as carefully as the user interface.

Shore teams gain a clearer operational picture

The ecosystem supports Raymarine's connected voyage-planning tools, including MyRA and MyFleet, allowing routes to be reviewed and monitored from shore. Weather, progress and safety information can be examined without relying solely on emailed screenshots or manual bridge reports.

Such oversight can support a yacht-management office without turning shoreside staff into remote navigators. Clear lines of authority remain essential so captains know which decisions belong onboard and how shore advice should be communicated.

The superyacht bridge is becoming more connected

Large yachts increasingly use commercial-grade ECDIS, radar and data services alongside owner-facing technology. Systems such as NavCloud show how the boundary between bridge equipment and the management office is becoming less distinct as connectivity improves.

The official Raymarine feature supplies the workflow description and exact system image. Superyacht Guide has linked the existing Teledyne Raymarine Commercial company profile and presents the benefits as manufacturer-described capabilities.
