The new 54-metre Riva flagship SAIRU is being offered through Edmiston for €42 million, with accommodation for 10 guests and an advertised 3,600nm range.

Riva's largest yacht offered by Edmiston

SAIRU, the 54-metre Riva motor yacht delivered in 2026, is available through Edmiston with a published asking price of €42 million excluding VAT. The yacht represents the Italian builder's largest construction according to the broker, bringing an unusually substantial platform to a brand associated with distinctive styling and high-end leisure craft. Edmiston's listing specifies 499 gross tons, accommodation for 10 guests in five cabins and space for 11 crew.

The availability of a virtually new yacht is relevant to buyers who do not want to wait through a lengthy custom-build programme. Yet recent delivery alone should not be taken as proof that every warranty matter and final technical adjustment has been completed. Prospective purchasers should review sea-trial documents, class and flag records, the warranty-transfer position and any commissioning items still open.

Aluminium construction and long-range performance

Officina Italiana Design is credited with the exterior and interior styling, while SAIRU's hull and superstructure are described as aluminium. Her profile brings together elongated lines, continuous main-deck glazing and a highly defined upper deck. The brokerage account presents the yacht as a fast-displacement design, intended to combine efficient lower-speed passages with higher-speed coastal cruising when required.

Twin 1,920-horsepower MTU engines are quoted, with a claimed 18-knot maximum and a comfortable 14-knot cruising figure. The broker lists an approximate 3,600-nautical-mile range at 11 knots. These figures depend on operating conditions, but they indicate the intended breadth of cruising use. Four electrically operated stabiliser fins and twin electric rudders are among the systems described as supporting acoustic and motion comfort.

Pools, fold-out terraces and a four-deck layout

The guest arrangements are central to SAIRU's appeal. On the main deck aft, a five-metre pool anchors an outdoor lounge, and fold-out bulwarks increase the connection to the surrounding water. Higher up, a sun deck provides additional open-air space, including a jacuzzi, while the bridge deck offers its own protected lounge and dining areas. Those separate zones allow different groups to use the yacht without competing for one principal guest space.

An elevator connects four decks, according to Edmiston's description, and the lower-level beach club incorporates folding sea terraces and an adaptable swim platform. These are attractive features but also add substantial mechanical complexity. Buyers should ask for demonstrations of the platforms, seals, sensors and safety interlocks in operation, and understand the maintenance obligations accompanying large moving structures close to salt water.

A flagship with practical questions

SAIRU's contemporary interiors, five-cabin guest arrangement and large beach club place her firmly in the modern superyacht market. The contrast between her relatively restrained 499-gross-ton figure and the extensive outdoor programme will interest owners who want a highly social boat without the operating footprint of the largest vessels. Her actual suitability for a chosen cruising itinerary still depends on draft, harbour arrangements, crew routines and support availability.

The current €42 million listing gives the market a clear reference for a new-generation Riva flagship. Buyers should evaluate the written build specification, completion records, equipment commissioning and systems training alongside the photographic presentation. As always, current price and status remain subject to confirmation by the appointed broker. For now, SAIRU provides a rare public opportunity to assess Riva's 54-metre design as an available vessel rather than only a project.
