Turquoise Yachts has developed 65-metre Above and 80-metre Beyond concepts with Denison and Bannenberg & Rowell for owners seeking long-range adventure yachts.
Turquoise Yachts has developed two related explorer concepts named Above and Beyond in collaboration with Denison Yachting and Bannenberg & Rowell. The sistership idea offers owners a choice between 65 and 80 metres while retaining a common design language.
Both concepts are intended for owners who expect to cruise beyond conventional Mediterranean routes. The brief specifically considers more remote destinations and a stronger emphasis on equipment, autonomy and outdoor activity.
The 65-metre Above uses a more compact, symmetrical profile with tenders and toys concentrated forward. The 80-metre Beyond adopts a stronger forward stance and larger scale while retaining the same angular visual language.
Bannenberg & Rowell use undercut exterior canopies and large glass surfaces to create continuity between the two concepts. The aim is to establish a recognisable family without making the larger yacht feel like a simple stretched version.
Turquoise provides the naval architecture and construction platform while leaving room for owners to shape interiors, equipment and mission profile. The concepts are intended as starting points rather than fixed production models.
Above & Beyond gives the yard another route into the expanding explorer segment. The projects respond to owners who want long-range capability but still expect strong design identity and high levels of customisation.
