YATCO has launched BOSS 2.0, integrating its Buoy AI assistant with yacht search, CRM, market intelligence, reporting, pricing and brokerage workflow tools.
YATCO has launched BOSS 2.0, a major update to its professional yacht-brokerage platform that places the company’s Buoy AI assistant at the centre of search and workflow. The new system combines listings, CRM, marketing, market intelligence, pricing tools and reporting in a redesigned interface intended to reduce the number of separate steps brokers perform during everyday client work.
Buoy allows users to describe a yacht search in ordinary language rather than manually building a long list of filters. YATCO gives examples such as finding every Azimut currently offered in Florida or identifying motor yachts above 30 metres available in the Mediterranean.
The assistant translates those requests into structured search criteria, allowing brokers to move more quickly from a client question to a relevant vessel list. That can be particularly useful when a brief combines size, geography, builder, availability and other conditions that would otherwise require several separate search steps.
YATCO says Buoy can also help create specification sheets, brochures and reports while supporting marketing and CRM tasks. BOSS 2.0 therefore positions AI as a workflow layer across the platform rather than limiting it to a standalone conversational search box.
The value of that approach will depend heavily on the quality and governance of the underlying professional yacht data. Brokerage work involves pricing, vessel history, client information and contractual processes, so speed has to be balanced with source accuracy, permissions and appropriate human review.
The platform adds automated Market Alerts covering new listings, price changes, sold yachts and other updates matching saved criteria. Comparative market analysis and pricing tools are also designed to use actual market and sold-vessel information to support valuation discussions and listing recommendations.
YATCO is also promoting Insight Analytics as a way to bring market information into client presentations and internal decision-making. These features reflect a wider shift from static listing databases toward systems that continuously monitor changes and present them in a form brokers can act on more quickly.
BOSS 2.0 will be rolled out in phases, with members retaining access to the current BOSS platform during the transition. YATCO says the systems will remain synchronised so existing listings, deals, fleet information and account data carry across rather than requiring users to rebuild their working environment.
The company describes the release as its largest professional-platform evolution in years and sees Buoy as the beginning of broader AI integration. For the yacht sector, the launch is another sign that brokerage technology is moving beyond digital listings toward connected operational platforms combining data, automation and client-management workflows.
