The 55m Amels LA FAMILIA has joined the market with Burgess at €32 million, bringing a privately used Amels 180 with 4,500nm range to the sales fleet.
Burgess has brought the 55-metre Amels motor yacht LA FAMILIA to the sales market with an asking price of €32 million. Delivered in 2015, the Amels 180 combines Tim Heywood exterior design with a bespoke Lambert & Thurnherr interior and has remained in private use under its current ownership.
The appointment adds a well-established Dutch-built yacht to the September brokerage market. Her proposition combines long-range capability with several features that remain unusual within the Amels 180 series.
LA FAMILIA accommodates 11 guests in five cabins, with the full-beam owner's suite incorporating a private folding balcony. Two further folding balconies open from the main saloon, extending the interior directly toward the water.
The dark-blue hull and four-deck profile are paired with an interior commissioned from Lambert & Thurnherr. Burgess says the yacht has been maintained without compromise, an important consideration for buyers assessing a yacht now more than a decade from delivery.
The strengthened sun deck incorporates a touch-and-go helipad rated for an aircraft of up to 2,000kg, while a custom sauna provides another distinctive feature. The yacht is commercially compliant despite having been used privately.
Twin MTU diesels provide a top speed of 15.5 knots. Burgess quotes a 4,500-nautical-mile range at 13 knots, giving LA FAMILIA genuine transatlantic capability.
The €32 million asking price is tax paid and the yacht is lying in the West Mediterranean. The brokerage appointment is a new market event rather than a change to the yacht's underlying specification.
Her market progress will provide another useful indicator of demand for pedigree 50-to-60-metre yachts as the Monaco sales season approaches.
