36.6m ANNE S PIERCE Reduced to $2.95m After Expedition Conversion
Northrop & Johnson has reduced the 36.6-metre expedition yacht ANNE S PIERCE to $2.95 million following her extensive commercial-vessel conversion.
Baglietto has sold the first Project53 to a long-standing client, taking the La Spezia yard to five hulls sold during 2026.
Baglietto has sold the first 53-metre Project53 to a long-standing client of the La Spezia shipyard, with delivery scheduled for 2029. The aluminium, sub-500 GT yacht is designed by Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design, which is responsible for both the exterior styling and the interior concept.
Baglietto says the first Project53 has been ordered by an established client of the shipyard, giving the new platform an immediate place in the builder’s forward order book. The contract takes Baglietto to five hulls sold during 2026, according to the yard’s official announcement.
The sale follows the larger Project58 and broadens Baglietto’s offer around the 50-metre segment. The yard positions Project53 as a highly customisable yacht intended to combine the generous volumes associated with larger vessels with the performance and operating flexibility expected from a contemporary aluminium platform.
Enrico Gobbi – Team for Design is responsible for the yacht’s exterior styling and interior concept, giving one design team control over the visual relationship between the two. Baglietto describes the exterior as dynamic and streamlined, with a vertical bow and large glazed surfaces intended to bring more natural light into the accommodation.
The interior concept follows the same emphasis on continuity between enclosed and exterior areas. Baglietto says the spaces are intended to remain elegant and contemporary while allowing substantial owner personalisation, rather than locking the first client into a rigid series-production arrangement.
Project53’s beach club is open on two sides and combines a pool with a fitness and spa area, creating a dedicated waterside zone at the stern. A central transformer improves direct access to the water, while the large sundeck provides additional areas for relaxation, dining and social use.
The owner’s suite is located on the main deck and includes large windows and a substantial walk-in wardrobe. Baglietto also highlights the yacht’s exterior living areas as unusually generous for this length, with the layout intended to make outdoor use a central part of the onboard experience.
The yacht will be built with an aluminium hull and superstructure and is designed to remain below 500 GT. Baglietto gives the platform a maximum speed above 16 knots, while the dedicated Project53 specification page lists twin CAT C32 engines and a published maximum speed of 16.5 knots.
Delivery of the first unit is scheduled for 2029, leaving a multi-year construction and outfitting programme ahead. Superyacht Guide is treating the signed contract as the current development; construction milestones, launch and sea trials should each be reported separately when Baglietto confirms them.
