A fully bespoke superyacht does not follow a standard production sequence, and published milestones need careful attribution. CRN still includes the 67-metre hull 146 in its official newbuild portfolio, while the original 4 April 2024 contract announcement sets out Project Poe’s design responsibilities. Neither source confirms a new launch, sea trial or owner delivery dated 28 September 2026.

A contract built around one client

CRN described a steel-and-aluminium yacht conceived through custom design, naval architecture, engineering and construction. The owner is represented by Moran Yacht & Ship, whose new-construction team negotiated the contract and oversees the project.

That division of responsibility matters to buyers tracking custom yards. A broker's project-management role does not make a vessel a speculative brokerage listing or imply that construction has reached delivery.

Nuvolari Lenard across the design

The official announcement credits Nuvolari Lenard with the exterior styling and interiors. That unified architectural direction is part of the owner’s brief, rather than a stock interior simply fitted into a standard hull.

The builder's current newbuild page still gives the length as 67 metres and the hull number as 146. This record is the appropriate current reference while detail-level layouts and engineering choices remain private.

Diesel-electric plans require precise wording

CRN identified a diesel-electric propulsion system in the contract announcement. The equipment description represents the project brief, not independently verified sea-trial performance or an operating record.

Owners and technical managers should distinguish a propulsion concept from the later tests that validate it. At this stage, invented fuel-saving figures or sailing ranges would create a false technical impression.

Tracking the remaining milestones

The page identifies Poe as a newbuild, but provides no verified completion date on which to claim the owner took delivery today. A launch, commissioning programme, class documents and acceptance will each need a dated official source.
