ISA Launches 79.8m Belita as New 2,220 GT Flagship

Belita becomes ISA Yachts’ new flagship

ISA Yachts has launched the 79.82-metre custom motor yacht Belita in Ancona. At 2,220 GT, the yacht becomes the yard’s largest current delivery and a new flagship for the Palumbo Superyachts brand.

The project brings together exterior design by Espen Øino International, interiors by Peter Marino Architect and naval architecture by Hydro Tec. ISA says the launch demonstrates its capacity to manage the engineering and organisational demands of large fully custom yacht construction.

Long horizontal lines frame a high-volume platform

Belita has a 12.5-metre beam and uses long bands of dark glazing to reduce the visual weight of the superstructure. The stern steps down through multiple terraces toward a pool area intended to create a progressive transition from the accommodation to the water.

Peter Marino’s interior has been developed entirely around the owner’s brief. ISA describes the fit-out as highly bespoke, with architecture, materials and craftsmanship treated as part of a single design programme rather than separate packages.

MTU power gives Belita 7,000 nautical miles of range

Twin MTU 16V 4000 M65L engines each produce 2,240 kW. ISA expects a maximum speed of 18 knots, a cruising speed of 14 knots and approximately 7,000 nautical miles of range at 10 knots.

Belita is the second 80-metre yacht built by Palumbo Superyachts after Columbus Classic 80m Dragon. The yard says that experience now forms part of a broader large-yacht programme that includes several ISA projects from 80 to 100 metres.
