ISA Yachts has launched the 38.8m Fast Naan in Ancona, the first Viper 130, ahead of its international debut at Cannes and subsequent Monaco appearance.
ISA Yachts has launched the 38.8-metre Fast Naan in Ancona, bringing the first unit of its Viper 130 series into the water. The Palumbo Superyachts brand says the yacht will make its international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 before moving on to the Monaco Yacht Show.
Fast Naan is built around a planing composite and carbon-fibre platform measuring 38.8 metres overall, with a beam of 7.85 metres and a draught of 1.55 metres. ISA Yachts developed the Viper 130 as a high-performance model while retaining substantial guest areas across the main deck, bow and sundeck.
Propulsion is based on three MAN engines paired with two waterjets and an MJP booster, with ISA Yachts giving the Viper 130 a stated maximum speed of 35 knots. Fulvio De Simoni is responsible for both exterior and interior design, while ISA Yachts developed the naval engineering for the platform in-house.
The stern is organised over three connected levels, beginning with a sea-level beach area fitted with a transformer that serves as both swim ladder and gangway. Steps lead to an aft-facing sunpad and lounge, while opening side balconies increase the usable area around the water.
Above this, the outdoor dining area is designed for up to twelve guests and sits alongside an aft galley and bar. An up-and-down darkened glass panel allows the galley to operate openly for informal service or to be separated from guests when greater privacy is required.
The lower deck is arranged for up to ten guests, with four double guest cabins in addition to the owner's cabin and its two bathrooms with a central shower. Crew accommodation is arranged in three en-suite cabins for six people including the captain, with access positioned to maintain separation between guest and service circulation.
The sundeck sits beneath a carbon hardtop and includes a second helm station, aft sunpads, a lounge, an L-shaped bar and another dining table. Forward on the main deck, a circular pool surrounded by sunpads and sofas creates a separate relaxation area away from the stern.
ISA Yachts had previously confirmed that the first Viper 130 was sold to an American client and was scheduled for a summer 2026 launch. With Fast Naan now in the water, that programme has reached its next milestone ahead of the yacht's public appearance at Cannes and subsequent display in Monaco.
The builder is also developing a second Viper 130 on speculation, with delivery scheduled for March 2028 according to its February construction announcement. The launch of Fast Naan therefore establishes the first completed reference point for a series that ISA Yachts is continuing to develop beyond the initial yacht.
