ISA Yachts Reveals 82m ESSENCE With 144m² Beach Club and Helipad

Third design in ISA’s Large Yacht Collection

ISA Yachts has revealed ESSENCE 82, an 82-metre full-displacement concept developed as the third project in its Large Yacht Collection. The yacht has a 12.8-metre beam and an estimated volume of about 2,250 GT, with exterior and interior design by Lobanov Design and naval architecture developed by ISA Yachts.

The concept is intended to sit apart from short-lived styling trends, using clean proportions, sculpted surfaces and a layered deck arrangement. ISA presents ESSENCE as a platform for long-term relevance rather than an exercise in visual novelty alone.

Beach club, pool and helipad

The stern centres on a 144-square-metre beach club that opens through two large fold-down side terraces. Directly above it, a main-deck swimming pool has a transparent bottom designed to filter natural light into the beach club and visually connect the two spaces.

Forward, the concept includes a touch-and-go helipad intended to be fully operational rather than purely decorative. Tender storage is planned for two 10-metre craft plus a separate seven-metre crew tender, giving the yacht substantial support capacity for guest operations and shore transfers.

Owner privacy and a dedicated wellness deck

The owner’s suite is positioned forward on the upper deck and is approached through a side passage overlooking the exterior rather than a conventional central corridor. That arrangement is intended to increase privacy while maintaining visual connection with the sea.

The bridge-deck aft area is dedicated to wellness instead of another conventional lounge. The published layout includes a gym, sauna, massage area, shower and pool, while a lift connects the guest decks through to the sun deck.

Long-range machinery and 12-guest accommodation

ESSENCE is planned with seven guest cabins for up to 12 people and accommodation for 21 crew. Published project data lists a steel hull, aluminium superstructure and twin MTU 16V4000M63L engines rated at 2,240 kW each.

The concept is quoted with a 17-knot maximum speed and long-range capability of about 6,200 nautical miles. Those figures remain design targets until a specific client project enters construction and the final displacement, machinery package and technical specification are confirmed.
