Barrus Displays Mercury and Yanmar Systems at Southampton

Barrus presented a range of marine propulsion and equipment at Southampton International Boat Show 2026. The distributor’s display included products from Mercury and Yanmar alongside supporting systems.

Although many boats at the event were below superyacht length, suppliers frequently serve the wider fleet and its tenders. The announcement is a record of the exhibition rather than a new engine certification.

Different propulsion requirements

Outboards, inboards and generator installations create different design and maintenance questions. A customer comparing options should consider the actual hull, duty cycle and service network rather than select on display appearance.

Products may be available in several ratings and configurations. The show announcement alone does not identify a suitable repower package for a particular vessel.

Beyond the engine itself
